MY VISIT TO LA ROCHELLE

After spending almost three months in Paris I decided to go to La Rochelle and visit our old friends from the trip to France we made in 2011. I stayed two days in Axelle’s house, my “correspondante”.
The first day I spent it with the girls: Axelle and some of her friends. We went to a café that the girls love, is called “Café de la Paix”. We had coffee with crepes and we chatted for like four hours! We had so much to talk after almost four years.
Despite they already knew the city perfectly well, they came with me to museums and historical places I wanted to visit. We spent a lovely day together! And by night, a friend of hers that I didn’t knew, called Marianne, throwed a party for her birthday and invited me when she knew I was staying in Axelle’s house. The party was really fun and I got to meet lots of really nice people: I had a great time. Finally we went to sleep because we were exhausted.
Even if it was Saturday, we woke up early. On that day we were going to do something Axelle had promised to me the last time we saw: take a horse-riding lesson together, because we both love that sport. We went by bus to her club. We took two beautiful horses and spent two hours riding, jumping and laughing, because I fell three times in the class, which is, according to the teacher, a new record.
The only bad part of the day was when I had to leave. Axelle’s sister took me to the station where I had to take the train. When we said goodbye, we all cried and hugged, and like the last time, I promised to come back again.
